General Information

• The Etna Library, or 'Hanover Town Library,' is Hanover's original public library.

• Our building was constructed in 1905 and our story stretches back even further (see our History page).

• While the Etna Library and the Howe Library share a catalog and have reciprocal borrowing privileges, the two are separate institutions with unique oversight, staff, budgets, and missions.

• We are open 40 hours per week (see our Hours & Directions page).

• We have over 12,000 circulating physical items in our collection (see our Collection Information page).
