Summer Reading

June 18 - August 20

 

The Etna Library's Summer Reading Programs begin on June 18th, for both kids and adults. The more you read, the more chances you have to win raffle prizes! We have over $1,000 worth of gift certificate prizes to award, generously donated by local businesses!

 

I. Kids: Come to the library and receive a bag of amazing summer items, including toys and pins! One of the items you'll receive will be a 'Color Our World' Reading Tracker that will allow you to log how many minutes you spend reading this summer. Each time you hit one of these reading milestones, you'll earn another raffle ticket towards prizes:

• 105 minutes

• 465 minutes

• 825 minutes

• 1185 minutes

• 1545 minutes

• 1800 minutes (earn 3 raffle tickets if you read this much!)

Kids can earn additional raffle tickets by completing the included 'Summer Challenges' and 'Creative Activities' sheets!

 

II. Adults and Young Adults: Fill out a slip of paper at the library for each book you read. Each slip counts as a raffle ticket and gives you a chance to win prizes at the end of the summer!
